On Friday, the drama was witnessed at Nanyuki police station after a civilian stormed the police line and assaulted an officer, claiming that he was looking for his wife.

Moses Kibuchi, a husband of one of the officers at the station, Silvia Wanza, is said to have broken into the police lines claiming that he was looking for his wife who left their home. Wanza is said to have escaped from her husband at their home following domestic disagreement allegations.

“He broke into the police line Block 5D through the sitting room window and broke the window panes completely as he looked for his wife. He managed to gain entry into the house,” a report by the police said as reported by K24.

After gaining into the house, Kibuchi is said to have started assaulting a police officer and another man he had found in the house. In the process, the civilian has injured the two and vandalized a phone belonging to one of his victims.

Kibuchi was reportedly injured in the hand and head while trying to gain access into the house.

Reports claim that Kibuchi and his wife have been living together outside the police lines but separated due to alleged threats, disagreement, and violence.

Following the incident, KIbuchi has been arrested and escorted to Nanyuki Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.
