Savara Admits He's Very Nervous About Sauti Sol Members Doing Their Own Solo Projects

All boys band Sauti Sol has taken a break from music to allow individual members to release their own solo projects.

Bien, Chimano and Polycarp have already released their own solo projects and they will be soon be followed by Savara Mudigi.

Savara is however still feeling jittery about Sauti Sol members releasing their own solo projects, he is trying to catch up with his music colleagues.

Kelebrity had the chance to interview the talented singer during a joint Sol Generation and Homeboyz press conference leading up to their Sol Fest event.

“As the last member of Sauti Sol to drop a solo project, are you nervous? Savara was asked.

To which he replied;

“I think when you are not nervous about releasing anything, that’s when you start dying as an artist. Overconfidence is a key to failure, you always feel butterflies when you want to introduce something new to the fans and I think it’s a life process.

“So, for me, the fact that I have butterflies means it’s a good product and that I respect my audience enough to even care about what they love. It would be rude to be overly confident and just give the fans anything, but my project is super good and I’ve done it with all of my heart.”

“Sauti Sol has evolved from a group to now individuals putting out projects, how competitive is it amongst the four of you?” Savara was asked.

He explained that;

“It is completely healthy competition amongst us, one thing people don’t know is that we are (like) brothers. We are friends first (before bandmates) individually we are so different. Wait until I release my stuff and you will see that it’s just Savara, the similarity (with us) only comes through Sauti Sol.”
