“Nlikua Nawachukia, Ata Ningewaona Mahali Ningewapiga Ngumi” Jaguar Speaks On His Hatred Of Nameless And Redsan

Starehe MP Charles Njagua Kanyi alias Jaguar harbored ill feelings for Nameless and Redsan that he would have physically attacked them given a chance.

Jaguar opened up about his loathing of Redsan and Nameless while speaking during an interview on Radio Citizen’s Mambo Mseto.

The musician-turned-politician explained that he was struggling to make it big in showbiz at a time when Nameless and Redsan were at the peak of their careers.

Jaguar said that he felt the two were bribing presenters to play their songs on radio and TV while he received no airplay, this really irked him and made him develop an intense dislike of Nameless and Redsan.

The Starehe MP told Tuva that he would have punched Nameless and Redsan if he had gotten the opportunity that time.

Translation:

“I remember those days Nameless, Redsan were very big and I just hated them so much, even if I saw him somewhere I would punch him because thought they were paying. I would have beaten him because I grew up seeing this artist is very big, he gets shows, he earns money he drives a good car but I grew up thinking in my mind that the artist pays Tuva to play his songs. Because I was wondering why I sing yet my songs are not being played. But they had the experience and knowledge to know what songs the market wanted. Now when I sat down with my producer, and people like DJ Pinye they gave me advice, even you Tuva you advised me. Music is a competition.”
