Justina Syokau says, Ezekiel is a good man but sometimes he’s doctrine is wrong. She adds that, some people were married in weddings and got divorced, some are widows and widowers. Being a single father or mother is not a curse she insists.
Justina Syokau made the decision to break her silence by holding a press conference. She addressed the Shakahola incident and spoke out about the issue of fake pastors misleading Kenyans.
Syokau began her address by condemning Pastor Mackenzie for being responsible for the deaths of over 100 people. According to her, Mackenzie is not a true man of God and deserves to be punished severely, including imprisonment or even the death penalty.
Syokau also expressed her belief that individuals like Mackenzie are the reason why many Kenyans have lost faith in the church and called for their complete elimination from society.
Continuing her address, Syokau also spoke about Pastor Ezekiel. While she expressed her admiration and affection for him, she noted that there are certain teachings of his with which she disagrees. Specifically, she cited instances where Ezekiel has contradicted both the Bible and God, particularly in his criticism of single mothers in society.
The gospel singer also called on Kenyans to exercise caution and avoid being brainwashed, as she finds it disheartening to witness hundreds of individuals lose their lives while starving themselves in the name of seeing Jesus.
Justina expressed optimism that justice will ultimately be served and that those found guilty should be sentenced to life imprisonment.
