Nominated senator Karen Nyamu has not been punished by her party United Democratic Alliance (UDA) in the wake of the drama witnessed in Dubai.
Nyamu fought with Samidoh’s wife Edday Nderitu during the singer’s Mugiithi show in Dubai on December 16, 2022.
Videos of the altercation went viral on social media prompting many Kenyans to petition UDA to institute disciplinary action against Nyamu.
A letter purporting to be from UDA dismissing Nyamu from the party went viral on social media with many people thinking the party had ultimately decided to rein in the erratic senator.
However, Nyamu came out to rubbish the letter noting that UDA had not taking any action against her over the drama in Dubai.
“NTV Kenya becoming synonymous to lazy journalism. Kwani kupiga simu Hustler Plaza ni dakika ngapi,” Nyamu wrote.
Earlier, UDA senator for Kakamega Boni Khalwale defended Karen Nyamu noting that Samidoh was to be blamed for the whole drama witnessed in Dubai.
