Willy Paul is seeking to unseat Mathare MP Oluoch Anthony Tom as joins politics in a bid to represent his former neighborhood in parliament.

The controversial singer was raised in Mathare slums but quickly moved out of there when he became rich and famous.

Willy however announced that he is joining politics to represent Mathare constituency in the forthcoming 2022 general election.

The Saldido Records CEO did not, however, reveal the political party that will sponsor his parliamentary bid.

In his announcement, the controversial singer promised to deliver change to the people of Mathare if they elect him their MP in 2022.

According to him, he is the change the people of Mathare have been yearning for.

“Are you ready Mathare? Let’s bring that change,” wrote Willy Paul.
