Vera Sidika Explains Why She Chose To Deliver Baby Asia On Mashujaa Day

It has been a little over a day since Vera Sidika and her husband Brown Mauzo welcomed their firstborn Princess Asia Brown.

The couple announced that their new born was delivered at exactly 10.21 am on Mashujaa Day.

Baby Asia was delivered through an Elective CS as the socialite did not want to experience labour pain during the birth process.

Taking to her Insta stories, Vera revealed that she wanted to have her baby on Mashujaa so that she could be celebrating her birthdays at home.

“Since Elective CS allows you to select a date within a particular time frame, I personally chose the date 20th October 2021 so that she can be celebrating her birthdays from home with family since it is a public holiday,” Vera wrote.

In a series of Insta stories, Vera has been sharing her experience as a new mother and delivery experience.

According to the entrepreneur, birth through CS was not painful as it is claimed to be.

“My honest opinion on CS delivery (based on my experience so far). During surgery I felt no pain. It’s been 21 hours after surgery, still no pain at all. And I can get up, walk around on my own. Waah. Am surprised. Actually felt so good during surgery. Some kind of high. I was awake. Saw, heard everything. Even told stories with my Anesthesian with some nice old school RnB music in the background,” Vera narrated.

Vera’s decision to undergo the delivery procedure did not come as a surprise since she had alerted her followers back then that she was not going to have a natural birth.

“Ever since I thought of having kids in my adult life, I said to myself I’ll do it only if I don’t have to experience labour. So I have forever been team CS (scheduled). I don’t want to feel an inch of labour pain. In fact, I even want to slay. Have my wig and makeup on fleek during my delivery. I honestly can’t deal with pain,” she wrote in a previous post.

Her wish eventually came to pass and she applied makeup first before going to the delivery room.

“I woke @misskeyshamakeup up s for my makeup appointment since my CS admission was early morning,” Vera shared.
