Pastor Ezekiel is reportedly under investigations over claims that dead people have been collected from his church in Kilifi.
This comes at a time when investigations are ongoing after shallow graves with several dozens of dead Kenyans were found and the whole saga linked to Pastor Mackenzie. Pastor Ezekiel is accused of directing Milele Funeral Home not to document the death’s at his church.
Detectives have allegedly questioned Pastor Ezekiel of New Life Prayer Centre, following the shocking news that has engulfed Kenyan homes.
Police now say Pastor Ezekiel could be linked to Pastor Paul Mackenzie.
Archbishop Muheria is also asking for financial audit of church leaders to ascertain the source of the multimillion assets and vast wealth owned by many of them.
Muheria says it will assist in the fight against cult worship in the country.
Milele Funeral Home and Ezekiel have an ongoing difference following the preacher’s claims that he had prayed and they would close business since no death’s would happen near the funeral facility.
Pastor Ezekiel questioned the existence of Milele Funeral Home, near a known blackspot, along the famous Mombasa Malindi Road.
Mr. Ezekiel in one of his televised sermons, pointed fingers at Milele accusing the business owners of profiting from deaths and carnages at the spot. He also claimed his powerful prayers would eventually lead to the closure of the morgue.
Speaking to a local media platform, Mr. Johnson Amani Kea, Milele Funeral CEO, revealed that the facility was still operational despite Ezekiel’s efforts prayer.He said that death is a mystery that no man can control and that all human beings will at one time go that route when time comes.
Besides the funeral home, Kea’s family has invested in other ventures which are also located in that building housing the morgue. He says, they offer their community services which are very important.
