The lifeless body of 22-year-old Kaisy Koech was found half naked in the bathroom of a house where she was partying.
The mysterious death of Kaisy has been the talk of the nation since it was reported.
Police said the deceased was in the company of her friends at a house party at Vesta Garden Apartment along Ngong Road House Sunday morning when the incident happened.
The deceased is said to have excused herself to go to the bathroom to take a shower.
While in the bathroom, her friends who were in the same suit bedroom heard her fall.
They called her but there was no response and immediately informed their male friends who were in the sitting room who rushed and broke the bathroom door and found her lying down holding the shower pipe on her right hand which also had burn bruises on the first finger and the chest.
Kaisy Koech was rushed to Coptic hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and further probe.
Police suspect she was electrocuted. Investigations are ongoing.
The friends who were present have been questioned about what happened.
Some of the friends who spoke to the media said the 22 year old was a party animal. That is, she liked going out during weekends to homemade parties.
She was residing in Milimani area, Nairobi county.
Kaisy is said to have been in a jovial mood during her last moments.
Some friends however raised doubts on the report that she went to the bathroom to take shower.
They wondered why she would be taking shower at the house party. Some hinted that she could have been with someone in the room doing things before that someone left and locked her in when things went south.
Forensic analysis of the bathroom and postmortem report will shed light on how Kaisy met her death.
