Willy Paul’s former signee Miss P says she regrets accusing him of raping her publicly.
In an interview with YouTuber Nicholas Kioko, Miss P said that the accusations were on impulse and that she was not in the right state of mind.
“Me doing that interview it was an impulsive reaction. I felt bitter, angry my emotions were all over. At the time I was not okay mentally, psychologically, a lot going on in my life, the interview was on impulse. I hate to say this, I literally live life with no regrets but I must say it is one of the things I regret doing because just after doing it I was like what did I just do,” the ex-artist said.
According to her, the accusations were not meant to draw attention to herself after her music career hit the rock bottom. She however refused to say if Willy Paul actually raped her or not.
“One would think that I wanted to draw attention to myself now that I was not working, doing music anymore and I was under someone’s label. I didn’t even think about anything like that.
“Don’t ask me if whatever I said was true or not let’s just leave it at that. It was not the best choice I ever made in my life,” she said.
Miss P further said that she has never looked for Willy Paul in person after the defaming interview.
According to her, she wanted to apologize to him publicly before looking for him
“Before I approach him and have a conversation with him, I will use something I saw in a reality show, Real Housewives of Nairobi, I heard someone say you embarrassed me in public you have to apologize in public so I am doing something of that sort, I tarnished his name publicly, let me clean it first before we patch up things,” Miss P said.
“Willy Paul, you know we had history, shit happened many things we both know are not proud of but it has been 2 years and it is not good to hold grudges, I will try to reach out but if you see this you can reach out,” she added.
