Miguna Names Kenyan Journalists That Are Worth His Time After a Chaotic Interview At KTN

Controversial lawyer and politician Miguna Miguna has given a list of Kenyan journalists who are worth his time.

The activist revealed that out of the many journalists in Kenya, only five are worth his time.

The five include Citizen TV’s Linus Kaikai, Joe Ageyo, Yvonne Okwara, NTV’S Denis Okari and KTN’s Sophia Wanuna.

How Miguna handles his fellow politicians and journalists has been the subject of discussion.

This comes after his interview with KTN’s news anchor Ken Mijungu turned chaotic.

The Wednesday night interview that was expected to be informative, interactive and educative turned into a battle of ego between the guest and the host and has since been a subject of discussion in social media.

All hell broke loose when Ken accused Miguna of breaking the law by swearing ODM leader Raila Odinga in January 2018.

“So Ken, you happened to have gone to law school, didn’t you? I’m asking you a question,” Miguna posed, “Tell me what law did I break, which statute did I break? Which section of the constitution says that I could not swear in Raila Odinga?” Miguna remarked.

“You can’t answer your questions, and I’m going to answer your questions the way I want, not the way you want,” Miguna said.

“You better keep quiet when I’m answering your questions, No! No! No! No! Ken, once you ask me a question, you keep quiet, and otherwise this is not an interview,” he went ahead.

After the interview, Miguna took to social media to propose that Ken be given a hardship allowance.

Miguna was deported to Canada after the swearing in of Raila Odinga.

According to the government, the lawyer was deported since he had denounced his Kenyan citizenship.

He is however expected to return to the country on November 16, 2021 in company of former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga.
