Manzi Wa Kibera is the latest woman to go to the streets to beg Mumias East MP Peter Salasya to marry her.
The 32-year-old lawmaker became an internet sensation after capturing the Mumias East parliamentary seat in the August 9 general elections.
Salasya has been causing women to have sleepless nights ever since he became an MP.
A woman identified as Lydia Ronald was the first one to go to the streets carrying a placard with the MP’s photo written ‘MP Peter Salasya Marry Me Please Mheshimiwa’.
“I promise him that if chooses me to be his wife I won’t disappoint him. I will be happy to meet you,” Lydia said.
She said she decided to make the daring move after Salasya said he was single and actively looking for a God-fearing partner.
Salasya ultimately reached out to Lydia and promised to help her in her career. He took her out for lunch.
After Salasya met Lydia, Manzi Wa Kibera too went to the the CBD carrying a placard asking the Mumias East MP to marry her.
The controversial socialite caused a stir in the city as she was skimpily dressed while carrying the placard.
