Guardian Angel’s own biological mother did not attend his wedding, it turns out that his brother was also not invited.
The musician’s brother has since come out to shed the light why the gospel singer failed to invite him to his wedding.
Guardian Angel (real name Peter Omwaka) and his sweetheart Musila got married in a private wedding on January 4th 2022.
The couple tied the knot in a very low key garden wedding on Guardian’s birthday, when he was turned 33 years old.
Guardian Angel’s brother in Christ singer Redemption has since come out to explain why he was not invited to the wedding.
Redemption and Guardian Angel were best friends, their friendship started in high school.
“We met in 2009 mi nkiwa high school form one. Ye alikua amemove from another school Hospital Hill akacome Kayole South mahali nlikua,” Redemption said during YouTube interview.
After high school Guardian and Redemption lived together in Umoja as they hustled hard trying to escape the jaws of poverty.
They collaborated to release a handful of songs. It was their song ‘Crossing Over’ which was released in 2014 that made the two to shoot to fame.
‘Crossing Over’ brought them fame and money but also strained their friendships as they drifted apart.
“Grace yangu na Guardian iliisha mahali fulani where alifeel huyu msee hakuna mahali tutaishia na yeye,” said Redemption.
Speaking on Guardian Angel’s wedding, Redemption said that;
“So wedding yake ata mimi nliona kama fan, sikujua inaplaniwa nliona kama fan. Ata kama hakuniinvite ‘ati bro wee ni ndugu yangu tumetoka mbali come wedding yangu’ still I am happy kwa sababu maybe hakuna kitu ningeenda kuadd pale but kulikua na watu wanaplay part kubwa na maybe na limited spaces za invites ju nliskia invitees pekeake.”
