Glen Knowles a gay Kenyan Fashion Designer and Stylist, who lives in Dallas,Texas has made a statement of the death of Edwin Chiloba and the constant attacks on LGBTQ members.
Glen Knowles reveals that the queer community is so big in Kenya and especially the Coast region.
The slim stylist insists there is no crime in being gay. They believe it’s a human right that needs to be respected even as Nyali MP, Mohammed Ali calls for the arrest of all LGBTQ people as per the constitution; it’s against the laws of Kenya to be in queer relationships.
While making a comment Knowles says;
“Hata sio Kinuthia na Chiloba Peke Yao, Tuko wengi sana, kujeni Coast ndio mshangae. Let them come and put me together with my boyfriend in a metallic box. There is nothing wrong with being gay, but there is a lot more wrong with the world we live in. We have to accept the face of difference and live our lives in a state of inclusion. We have to accept the diversity of humanity. This world would be a better place if we just stop being horrible to one another.” he says.
Knowles also adds a photo enjoying a cute partner moment, for all to see and let them be as it should be.
The US government has offered to assist Kenyan authorities in carrying out full investigations into the death of fashion designer, model and LGBTQ activist Edwin Chiloba.
Police have managed to squeeze confessions from the late Chiloba’s lover Jackton Odhiambo; who said it was a revenge attack for being cheated on.
The associates who are believed to have helped him to transport Chiloba’s body packed in a huge metal box and abandoning it by a roadway.
Edwin Chiloba will be laid to rest on January 14, 2022, at Sergoit, Moiben.
