End Of Unpleasant Saga: Janet Mbugua’s Ex-Husband Finally Free After Murgor Sisters Let Him Off The Hook

Janet Mbugua’s ex-husband Eddie Ndichu and his twin brother Paul can now breathe a sign of relief after the Murgor sisters dropped charges against them.

The Murgor sister dropped the assault case against Paul and Eddie after they apologized to them.

Kibera Chief Magistrate through the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) ordered a withdrawal of all criminal charges relating to the incident in October 2021 at Ole Sereni Hotel.

“This marks the end of the unpleasant saga, giving each one of the affected parties an opportunity to enjoy the upcoming holiday season,” said Philip Murgor who represented his nieces in the case.

The Ndichu twins issued a public apology to the Murgor sisters and their companions.

“We have since taken time to introspect and self-reflect on the same and acknowledge that given our standing in society, much more was expected of us on how we handled the incident. The unfortunate experience has taught us invaluable lessons which will certainly guide us going forward,” the Ndichu brothers wrote.

The two brothers were facing criminal charges where they were accused of assault and malicious damage to property on the night of October 17, 2021 at Ole Sereni Hotel in Nairobi, causing her bodily harm.

Eddie and Paul Ndichu were facing several counts of assault and malicious damage to property, according to charge sheet filed in court.

The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji on February 7th 2022 filed a suit against the twin brothers at the Kibera Law Courts.

However, the twin brothers were no show at the Kibera Law on February 8th when they were charged with five counts of assault and malicious damage to property.

On March 9th 2022, only Paul showed up at the Kibera Law Courts for the hearing of their case. His brother Eddie was conspicuously missing.
