DJ Pierra Makena Laments About Fellow Female DJs Stripping Butt Naked In Clubs Just To Attract Male Crowds

DJ Pierra Makena is decrying recent trend by female DJs to utilize their bodies to entertain male revelers in a bid to remain relevant in the industry.

The deejaying profession is a male dominated industry, Pierra Makena was a trailblazer for female DJs as she joined the industry when there were no female DJs.

However, Makena is now disappointed with some female DJs who are now capitalizing on sex appeal to remain relevant in the industry.

Speaking during an interview with Eve Woman, Makena said she was disappointed with the current generation of female DJs who are utilizing their bodies to entertain revelers.

The sultry DJ noted that some female DJs no longer rely on their expertise and excitement for music to engage their listeners, instead many have moved to nudity which they claim is art.

Makena recalled an incident by a female South African DJ who stripped down during a December event.

“See, many female deejays have changed this whole art into a nude thing. In South Africa, we even saw a female DJ strip naked in front of hundreds of fans,” Pierra Makena lamented.

Pierra Makena further defended her dressing code stressing that she is modest and that she doesn’t tolerate nudity.

“Yes, I wear hot pants and whatnot, but I feel female DJs are pushing nudity rather than an experience. This has to be updated,” she said.

Adding that;

“The difficulty is that these new Deejays are entertaining a whole different demographic in terms of age, and for this new generation, nudity may be sufficient entertainment. No?”
