Charltone, the son of the veteran boxer Congestina Achieng has revealed how exactly her dear mum began being sick.

Initially, Charltone revealed that he, together with the mother, frequented the gym where she would carry his boxing bag.

Apparently, the young man while exclusively speaking to Mpasho News confessed that whatever happened was still very fresh in his mind.

“We would go to the gym and and train. But one day, we went there and she just sat at a corner, doing nothing and told me she is busy,” he shared.

Ho noted that the mother started behaving strangely which made him wonder what was wrong with her.

By then he was only 16 years old and he started witnessing these changes worsen on a daily basis where they lived together at a place in Nairobi.

“She locked me in the house, saying there are people after me. I was locked in the house from morning to evening, then she came back with a gift, a bicycle. The next day, she lit a fire in the house burning her important documents.. photos.”

Mpasho News added that at times, Conjestina would lock the house after lighting fire inside, and they would suffocate in the smoke. 

Charltone was only in class eight in the wake of all these, with Congestina Achieng’ discouraging her from going to school because she felt that “bad people” would haunt him.

As a result, Charltone who was so much confused with this situation contacted the grandfather to come to Nairobi. Fast forward, he took Congestina to the Mathare hospital for a thorough check up.
