Ryan Mwenda, who played the role of Simba in Zora, is devastated following the tragic loss of his three relatives.
The trio lost their lives in a tragic night fire incident a week ago at their home in South B Estate.
The fire claimed the lives of his aunt, cousin and their househelp.
“I am absolutely devastated 😭 Words can’t explain my pain during this moment. 😢The loss of my 3 relatives in such a short period has been heavy on us as a family. We ask that you keep us in your prayers,” Simba captioned a video he shared on his social media accounts.
In the video, the 16-year old could not hold back his emotions as he begged help from president William Ruto and former president Uhuru Kenyatta to help his family in giving their relatives a befitting send off.
“It is such a devastating time to my family and I am humbly appealing to my friends the fourth president of the Republic of Kenya His Excellency Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and the fifth president of the Republic of Kenya William Samoei Ruto to come to the aid of my family and I during this difficult time in assisting us in giving them a befitting send off,” he said.

The tragedy comes just 5 months after Simba lost his grandfather.
“It’s unbelievable how these 3lives were lost in an inferno… I cannot imagine the cries and the shouts u made calling for help invain….
“Tamyra our last born cousin, I am sorry no one listened to your cries…. 😭😭😭😭
It is not well at all! 💔💔Lord help me Lord remember my Grandma at this moment, I lost my Grandpa, bearly five months ago! 😭Lord, come through for my family,” the young actor shared in an earlier post.
