Kate Actress To Rub Shoulders With Presidents Ruto, Biden At The White House

Kenyan actress Catherine Kamau, known affectionately as Kate Actress, is buzzing with excitement after receiving a prestigious invitation from the US ambassador to Kenya, Her Excellency Ambassador Meg Whitman, to attend a State dinner at the White House.

In a jubilant announcement on her social media platforms, the proud mother of two expressed her gratitude to the US embassy in Nairobi for their unwavering support and dedication to the advancement of Kenya’s creative industry.

“Good morning. This village girl will be attending the STATE DINNER at the White House & a Luncheon at the #TylerPerry studios in Atlanta by invitation from Her Excellency #AmbassadorMegWhitman,” she joyously shared.

Kate Actress’s invitation places her alongside dignitaries and notable figures, including Kenyan President William Ruto, for the prestigious event scheduled for Thursday, May 23.

President Ruto is slated to participate in various engagements during his four-day visit to the United States, culminating in a joint press briefing with President Biden at the White House and a speech on climate solutions at the Smithsonian Institution.
