In 2012, the exceptionally gifted vocalist tied the knot with the person she adored in an extravagant wedding ceremony held at a church.
Their journey towards matrimony was preceded by a lengthy courtship, as they had initially met within the church community.
After persistent pursuit from the man, she eventually succumbed to his advances.
The dream wedding was swiftly followed by an idyllic honeymoon, akin to a perfect dream.
Regrettably, the once joyful union soon turned ephemeral, as the affectionate husband underwent a startling transformation into an unfamiliar figure.
Their living arrangements shifted to include the in-laws, marking the onset of a distressing period of humiliation and abuse.
Driven by a desire to uphold her reputation and influenced by her Christian upbringing, she was determined to endure the challenges that lay ahead.
However, the situation took a rapid turn for the worse following the arrival of their first child.
Having undergone a cesarean section, she found herself unable to manage all the household tasks alone.
