Joey Muthengi Makes Television Comeback 3 Years After Citizen TV Forced Her To Resign 

Joey Muthengi has finally landed a job, the former ‘Day Break’ and ‘10 over 10′ host was forced to resign from Citizen TV in 2018.

Royal Media Service (RMS) the parent company for Citizen TV forced Joey to quit her job over conflict of interest.

Joey had problems with her former employer after she appeared on an advertisement with betting company Betin, while RMS had its own version – Shabiki.

“The thinking was that she is a Citizen TV brand and should not be promoting a rival company,” she said in a past interview.

Joey Muthengi ultimately resigned from Citizen TV in November 2018. A year later she publicly admitted that things were tough for her.

“Hey, November! . Today marks 1 year since I left my last job. It was a very difficult decision. Yet God guided me to the place I am now. Today I am happy, content & know that I am loved,” Joey Muthengi tweeted in November 2019.

After three years in the cold, Joey Muthengi has finally made TV comeback at a different television station.

She will be hosting ‘The Skin Therapy Show on KTN Home. The new show debuts on Sunday April 3rd 2022 at 4:30pm.

Joey’s brother Holy Dave congratulated her on landing the new TV show after three years in the cold.
