Endo Survivor Corazon Kwamboka Cries Tears Of Joy As She Has First Period In Two Years

Corazon Kwamboka has been battling endometriosis for years, she experienced extreme pain during menstruation as a result of her condition.

Endometriosis is painful disorder in which tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside the uterus. It’s usually occasioned by very painful menstruation.

Corazon is among a handful of female celebs who have been open about their battle with endometriosis.

The mother of two took to social media on May 6th to announce victory over the chronic condition. She was delighted to have her first painless period.

“Got my 1st period in over two and a half years today and as an endo survivor, having painless menses is really worth celebrating. I used to roll on the floor and cry literal tear, like wail during my period before I did the laparoscopy,” wrote Corazon.

Corazon received overwhelming message of support after opening up about her condition, several women battling endometriosis commented to share their experiences.

Apart from Corazon Kwamboka, other celebs who have battled endometriosis include; Njambi Koikai, Janet Mbugua, Ciru Muriuki and comedian Zulekha Walalo.
