First it was Starlet Wahu, then Rita Waeni and now a third woman has been murdered similarly.

Police are investigating the murder of a middle-aged woman whose body was found dumped on the roadside in Juja, Kiambu County.

The naked body of the woman was found dumped at Gwa-Kairu area in Juja.

Police were alerted by locals about the naked body which was dumped carelessly with no intention to hide it.

Detectives said the had visible physical injuries and bruises on the face, and that the surrounding area showed signs of a struggle.

It is not clear the woman was assaulted before the murder. A postmortem is set to be conducted to determine the woman’s cause of death.

The woman had not been identified at the time of this reporting. No arrest has been made so far.

The woman’s murder is the third case to be reported within Nairobi and its environs since the year started.

Starlet Wahu Mwangi, the sister of controversial preacher Pastor Victor Kanyari, was brutally murdered on the night of January 3, 2024, at an Airbnb in South B, Nairobi.

Rita Waeni was murdered in an Airbnb in Roysambu on Saturday, January 13, 2024.

All these murders remain unresolved at the moment.
