Angry Kenyans Demand CNN To Fire Larry Madowo Immediately After Appearing In Live Broadcast In His Underwear

Larry Madowo attracted mixed reactions after he was seen reporting for CNN in a live broadcast while he was wearing his underwear only without a trouser.

For starters, Larry was employed by CNN in May this year to take up a new position as the network’s Nairobi-based correspondent.

Well, CNN international correspondents have scaled down their movements with the recent surge in Covid-19 cases caused by the highly infectious Omicron variant, some are now reporting from their own houses.

Larry Madowo reported for CNN on the ongoing Tigray conflict in Ethiopia from a hotel room or his living room in Nairobi.

The CNN correspondent took to social media and posted a photo of himself while he was reporting on the conflict in Ethiopia.

From the photo he shared, Larry can be seen wearing a shirt and a coat while below his abdomen he was only wearing underwear without a trouser.

Viewers however didn’t get to see Larry’s underwear as the camera was only focused on his from his chest upwards.

Nonetheless there were people who were offended by Larry’s decision to report while he was not wearing any trouser.

While some netizens simply laughed at Larry’s photo, other strongly criticized him with some even calling on CNN to institute disciplinary action against the celebrated Kenyan journalist.
