Critics are speculating that Octopizzo, whose real name is Henry Ohanga, spent less than 30k on his low budget wedding which was held in Ligega village, Ugenya region of Siaya county.

Octopizzo married his mzungu sweetheart on Tuesday December 28th in a wedding that is now the talk of the nation.

The two lovebirds exchanged vows in a church in Ugenya before they proceeded to the rapper’s village home to enjoy their day.

The Kibera raised rapper and his newlywed wife waived to crowds gathered by the roadside as they stood in sunroof of the SUV ferrying them home after their church wedding.

Videos and pictures of Octopizzo’s low budget wedding were shared by blogger Edgar Obare sparking mixed reactions from netizens.

Some people criticized the rapper for marrying his mzungu wife in a low budget while others hailed him as a wise man for not wasting a lot of money on a wedding like other celebrities only to end up in nasty divorce.
