Mary Lincon Ordained As An Evangelist 2 Years After Her Lungula Tape Leaked

Kikuyu Gospel singer Mary Lincon was overcome with emotion during her ordination ceremony as an Evangelist on Sunday, May 12th, bringing tears of joy and even fainting.

The momentous occasion marked a significant milestone in her spiritual journey, which she credits in part to the support of individuals like CS Moses Kuria.

Lincon’s journey towards spirituality began after her sex tape leaked in November 2022, sending shockwaves across the country. The gospel singer subsequently moved closer to God, seeking forgiveness and repentance in a bid to save her marriage.

The incident led her to seek solace in prayer, with Lincon sharing photos of herself kneeling and weeping as Bishop Michael Wanderi of Christian Foundation Fellowship (CFF) Church, Kiambu prayed for her. The experience was a turning point for Lincon, who has since spoken publicly about the importance of forgiveness and redemption.

“Yes, we went to the Christian Foundation Fellowship (CFF) Church for repentance and forgiveness prayer. Our God is merciful and offers those who repent a second chance to resume service to him,” she told the media after the repentance service.

The ordination ceremony marks a new chapter in Lincon’s life as an Evangelist, and her gratitude towards those who have supported her along the way is a testament to the power of faith and redemption.
