Former Machachari actress Natasha Ngegie popularly known for her stage name Stella has come out to set the record straight about a Facebook post criticizing her former costar Ian Nene alias Almasi.
Natasha denied that she called out Almasi for being gay, insisting that the Facebook account was a parody.
“Hey kings it’s been brought to my attention that this page is impersonating me and posting profanities about my former cast mates. Kindly report this page. My Facebook page is connected to my Instagram so if it’s not posted on my Instagram it’s definitely not on my Facebook page. Stay woke,” she wrote.
Ian Nene has come under criticisms multiple times for being gay. He introduced his Indian husband in June 2021 in a Facebook post that he later deleted because of criticisms.
Ironically, Natasha has also been criticized for being a lesbian even though she strongly denies she is a member of the LGBT community.
“Ever since that stupid video falsely stating I’m a lesbian came out my DMs are chroming with women. Don’t get me wrong I’m not against the LGBTQ+ family I support you guys so much,” Natasha wrote in July 2021.
“But Sasa mmezidi sitaki kuenda Mombasa, malindi ,Dubai ata stage ya matatu na nyinyi. Niwacheni please. (It’s becoming too much and I’m not interested in travelling with you not even to a bus station. Please leave me alone),” she added.
