Zuchu's Mother Confirms Is Single After Diamond Denied Marrying Her

Diamond Platnumz denied he is a married man just weeks after he publicly confirmed for the first time that Zuchu is his wife.

The ‘Mtasubiri’ hitmaker referred to himself as Zuchu’s husband while commenting on an Instagram post by his record label Wasafi.

“That’s Zuuh’s (Zuchu) husband,” Diamond wrote while commenting on a video posted by Wasafi in which he dropped a thrilling performance.

However, Diamond denied he is married while speaking during an interview with DW Africa during his European music tour.

“What do you mean settling down? I still want to give them more music. I still wanna give them more good music,” Diamond said.

He further claimed that some of his friends are no longer releasing good music because they got married.

“That’s why I feel like, let me give you guys the good music. The time I’m about to retire, I will get married,” he said,

Zuchu’s mother Taarab singer Khadija Kopa also claimed that her daughter is not married to Diamond, revealing that she hasn’t been given dowry.

“Until then my daughter remains single,” she said.

Khadija also said that even though the two hang out together, it is work-related.

“Diamond is Zuchu’s boss and she has not told me anything about their relationship and she won’t dare in fact she better not try.”
