Comedian Eddie Butita made a grand entrance at Akothee’s wedding when he landed on a chopper alongside his girlfriend.
Akothee got married to Omondi at the Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club on April 10, 2023.
The wedding attracted newsmakers such as Ida Odinga – the wife of Azimio leader Raila Odinga, Dorothy Nyong’o – Kisumu’s First Lady, Lang’ata MP Jalang’o among others.
However, it was Eddie Butita stood out thanks to his grand entrance at Windsor Golf Hotel.
The comedian landed on the field at Windsor aboard a blue chopper.
Butita claimed that he decided to fly to the wedding because all of his cars had been taken to the car wash to be cleaned.
Speaking on his show on TV47 while interviewing comedian Njugush, Ofweneke said that Butita went broke after hiring the chopper to fly to Akothee’s wedding.
Ofweneke further claimed that Butita’s employees at SPM Buzz entertainment site have not been paid since he hired the chopper.
“Unajua SPM Buzz hawajalipwa mshahara tangu harusi ya Akothee? Kido sahi anatafuta job Mpasho, Ndenya sahi ameanza kuuza mashamba… hakuna mtu amelipwa ju ya ndege,” Ofweneke said.
