The two decided to tie the knot shortly after Ivanna’s birth, they exchanged vows in a colorful wedding held on October 2nd 2015.
However, Betty and Okari went their separate ways just six months after their wedding, infidelity was reportedly the cause of their breakup.
Betty cheated with Hassan Joho and when her ex husband Okari found out he divorced her immediately.
After her marriage crumbled around April 2016, Betty and Joho got into a serious relationship as Okari also moved on.
Okari remarried in February 2019, he tied the knot with Joy Naomi in an invite-only ceremony held at a location on Kiambu Road.
However, Betty has not been lucky with love ever since Okari divorced her. She broke up with Joho, dated lawyer Nick Ndeda who also broke her heart.
After years of hostilities, Betty and Okari ultimately mend fences for the sake of their daughter Ivanna.
Speaking during a recent interview with Plug TV, Betty said communication has made co-parenting with baby daddy Dennis Okari easy.
“You know things happen in this world like people separating or divorcing. It is life. But I think if you are able to find a cordial way to interact with your ex-partner, especially for the benefit of the child, I think that is extremely important and crucial,” said Betty Kyallo.
She further disclosed that Okari and her became good friends so as to make sure their daughter has the best.
“We co-parent and we talk. The thing is communication. We aren’t enemies. We make sure to give Ivanna the best life because she deserves it. She is innocent. I think this advice goes for everybody else who has separated from their partner after having a child with them. It is important the child’s interests are put first,” Betty said.
