Winnie Odinga was surprised by a move by Kisii High School to fly bright students to Nairobi just to motivate them, and she offered to fly 10 more in a bid to support the initiative.

Raila’s lastborn daughter was reacting to a tweet by The Only Joe who shared photos of a Kisii High Student boarding a plane in Kisumu.

“This Juma Alex Oyugi. He is a form four student at Kisii High School. He is seen boarding Jambojet from Kisumu to Nairobi this morning. He is expected to take a return flight later today and back to school,” Joe tweeted.

“The school’s Senior Principal Mr.Fred Mogaka in his bid to motivate his form four students, promised a trip on board a plane to whoever attained an A plain in post mock exams.

“Juma not only secured an A plain of 81 points but also emerged the best in 5 schools,” he tweeted.
