Veteran Churchill show comedian MC Jessy has confessed before Kenyans that he used to be a fake pastor in Nairobi prior to joining comedy.
According to MC Jessy whose dream was to fly high, he joined one of the churches in Nairobi where he often got a chance to preach despite not being saved.
“One day a very beautiful girl called Sheila approached me after the service and asked me to pray for her to fly high. She was so beautiful that I could not resist as a ‘pastor’.” he said during the launch of Chipukeezy foundation, adding that her beauty confused him.
“I prayed for her: ‘Sheila, whenever you need to fly, go and shine.’ And because I loved her so much, I felt that I had done it perfectly.” He continued.
Consequently, MC Jessey got happy after the lady came back better, admitting that she had applied for many jobs before the “prayer” but got none.
Apparently, she was lucky to get a job with the Emirates flying company following numerous prayers by pastor MC Jessy and it is then that he received Christ and got saved while he was a pastor.
“She said after my prayers she had been invited for the job as an in-flight attendant with Emirates flying company. Yaani, I got saved while I was still a pastor.”
Besides, Chipukeezy admitted that MC Jessy was so prayerful during their time at Churchill that he ended up blessing everyone with a word of God.
