Tiny Hands With Great Talent: Meet 3-year Old Minting Money From Hair Dressing

Just at three years old Lordina Nancy has already secured her mark in the world of hair dressing. The young Ghanian became an internet sensation after videos of her braiding hair surfaced online. In the videos, she is seen braiding adults and because of her height, she is sometimes forced to use a chair so that she can be able to reach a client’s head properly.

Although hair dressing seems to be her major area of interest, she also does beauty from time to time, applying makeup on clients who trust her with the job.

According to her mother Amina Yukubu, who is also a hair dresser, Lordina’s talent has earned her more customers.

“Because of my daughter, many people come here. Others see her on social media and want to come here. When they do, they let her braid their hair,” she said in an interview.

Amina says that her daughter  can braid different rasta hairstyles, wash and even style clients’ hairs.

“She can be on her feet for one hour braiding a client’s hair and then take a rest later,” the proud mother said.

How did Lordina start hair dressing?

According to Amina, Lordina has never undertaken any training in hair dressing. She says that Lordina woke up one day and joined her in braiding a client’s hair.

“One day after school, after she took a nap, I realised she came to pick some hair strands and joined us to braid a client’s hair. We were shocked to see how she was braiding  the client’s hair. We did not teach her, she started all by herself.

Despite her peculiar talent, her mother said that she supports her schooling.

“When she grows up and makes a career choice, I will support her,” she said. “I am happy she can do this, she does this without any training. Nobody taught her how to braid
