Gospel singer and Pastor Size 8 Reborn has recounted how she nearly lost her life three time due to high risk pregnancies.
The most recent case was in September 2021 when her unborn child died in her womb.
The singer was forced to undergo a risky surgery so as to remove the dead foetus and doctors were not sure if she would have made it alive.
Size 8 faced high risk pregnancies because of high blood pressure and her doctors had to permanently prevent her from getting another pregnancy in future.
Speaking to YouTuber Vincent Mboya Size 8 said the chronic illness began just after she got saved in 2015.
She said that it was the devil who was fighting her for choosing Christ.
“I usually tell people that if they see me holding the microphone it is because I have no option. Were it not for God I wouldn’t be alive because the cause of high blood pressure was never discovered. Doctors said that it couldn’t be stress because it would rise on its own and disappear, whether I am happy or not.
“They had told me that maybe there was an organ in my body that had failed. I know spiritually it was the devil fighting me because it started after I got saved. Before I got saved it was not there. It was just the devil trying to intimidate me because of my Christianity,” Size 8 said.
“From 2015, I have been getting the attacks, high pressure, paralysis so I remove tears, mucus and saliva at the same time. I don’t understand what usually happens, its like my brain is confused. When someone talks to me, I hear clearly but I can’t respond because I can’t move my mouth, the left side of my hand,” she added.
According to her, when she started preaching, she slowly started to recover and now she is feeling fine.
“While in hospital, I had a conversation with God and I told him not to allow me die. He told me why should I preserve you? I said I have two children and I will preach Christ,” the mother of two said.
