Akothee says she did not stay in the market too long before finding the love of her life.

According to her she met her husband Denis Omosh Schweizer on June 16, 2022. This came just a few weeks after confirming her break-up with her former manager Nelly Oaks.

In a long post on June 9, 2022, the artist confirmed rumors that had been going on for sometimes that she was no longer dating Nelly Oaks.

She however noted that the break-up wasn’t a surprise as she had walked out of many relationships before.

“I have walked out of other relationships with different ups & downs, so this last one shouldn’t be a shock or a surprise. It’s just a personal decision, I need time to concentrate on my new Found happiness with less destruction, I need to work on myself and my career, I am not ready for any commitment, questions or answers to what transpired just didn’t want to hurt anyone. But sorry it is what it is,” she wrote.

Akothee went ahead and asked netizens to respect Nelly saying they have a family relation back in Rongo.

After meeting Omosh in June, they began dating soon after and he proposed in September. 7 months later the two tied the knot.

“Met him in July 16. He proposed in September 2002, married me in April 10. Sikukaa soko sana,” the mother of five said  and further urged fans to watch the full video of her royal wedding on YouTube.

“Love wins,” she added.

Akothee remarks come at a time when fans raised concerns about how some men target single mothers saying they are vulnerable. A fan also hoped that she had done a thorough background check on Omosh before marrying him.

Responding to that, Akothee said that the advise won’t work on her as she is already married.

“Some men target single mothers and rich women its True .let them do a background check before good advice. Mimi nishaolewaaaaaaaaaa mengine tutakutana nayoo kule mbele mbele,” she said.
