Senator Victor Prengei Predicted His Death Before Hitting A Wall With His Prado

Nominated senator Victor Prengei might have predicted that he would one day be promoted to glory in a New Year Post when he advised followers that seeing a new day or year “means favour minus labour. Grace means promotion without qualification.”

Senator Victor Prengei was on Monday night at around 9.45 PM involved in a very fatal accident which saw his Toyota Landcruiser Prado badly damaged.

While breaking the news to the public, this is how a police report read:

Ā “It happened that the said motor vehicle was from Nakuru general direction heading towards Ravine general direction and on reaching the location of the accident, the driver lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road to the right side as one faces Kiamunyi general direction, hit the wall and finally rested there.”

“As a result of the impact, the driver, one Victor Prengei sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Moi Memorial Hospital for treatment while undergoing treatment he succumbed to injuries.”

Following his abrupt death, various leaders sent messages of condolences to the fallen leader while describing him as someone who fought for the rights of the minority.

“He represented the Ogiek community in the Senate and was a beacon of hope to many. His elevation to the Senate was a major recognition of the rights of the Ogiek and other minority communities. He was a quiet and humble leader, always conscious of the huge burden he carried. To the family and the people of Marioshoni, our hearts and prayers during these difficult times.” Wrote Nakuru governor Lee Njiru.

Another nominated senator Millicent Omanga wrote: “Rest well my colleague and friend Hon. Victor Prengei, Nominated Senator. We shall forever cherish your tireless efforts in fighting for and protecting rights of the minority communities in our Nation. We have lost a great leader. My condolences to your family, friends and the entire Ogiek community. #MamaMiradi”

By all standards, the late nominated senator Victor Prengei was a religious man by all standards if his posts are anything to go by. For instance, below were some of his best quotes:

“When grace speaks, protocols are suspended. If you doubt me ask Esther. When grace speaks laws are broken, if you doubt me ask David. When grace speaks, educational qualification’s are useless, if you doubt me ask Peter. When grace speaks, connections are needless, if you doubt me ask Joseph – from prison to prime minister.”

“Today, I decree into your life that in this glorious day henceforth, the grace of God will speak for you in every area of your life in the name of Jesus Christ.”
