Model Chantou Kwamboka was crowned Miss World Kenya for the year 2022/23 during a gala held at Two Rivers Mall on Sunday, December 11, 2022.
The Miss World beauty pageant was graced by Youth Affairs, Sports, and the Arts Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba among others dignitaries.
Kwamboka beat 16 other contestants to emerge the winner and took home a cheque for Ksh500, 000.
More than 1,000 women from all over the country applied for the competition hoping to replace the outgoing Miss World Kenya Sharon Obara.
Last year Chantou Kwamboka finished as the first runner’s up and auditioned again this year and ultimately won the Miss Kenya crown.

The 2023 Miss World Kenyan is gracefully thin making many wonder why the beauty industry only choses model who are slender.
