Controversial Mumias East MP Peter Salasya is seeking to venture into the lucrative world of content creation.
To help him realize the dream, the lawmaker is in need of a social media manager, who will run his YouTube account.
The ideal person’s main job will be posting his videos, according to Salasya.
The YouTube manager will be taking home Kshs20,000 as starting salary.
“Looking for a professional person who can open for me a YouTube channel and post for me. Yangu itakuwa kutoa kiki yeye ni kupost. Starting salary is 20k per month if interested contact me via my PA Elvis Anguche by inboxing him,” Salasya shared on social media.
The MP is however yet to share any details of why he is seeking to venture into content creation, considering his current position.
Reacting to his post, many have expressed interest, hoping that they would land the job.
In the recent months, the first time lawmaker has been involved in a handful number of controversies, including fighting an MCA at a funeral event and threatening a judge.
His questionable conduct saw him get summoned by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission in January. Despite honoring the summon, he blamed Kakamega governor Fernandes Barasa for being responsible.
“I know the person doing this is this one (Governor Barasa). I want to tell the governor to do his job and let me do mine. I respect you, stop frustrating me. My only problem was KMTC and Mumias Sugar. I have let him be,” he said.
He however made peace with the governor admitting that environment was conducive for them to work together in March this year.
