Njogu wa Njoroge Axed From Kameme FM For Showing Allegiance to DP Ruto

A popular vernacular radio presenter who has a whole lot of fanbase from Central Kenya, Njogu wa Njoroge has been fired from Kameme FM on Monday, January 24.

Njogu wa Njoroge was fired from the MediaMax franchise alongside his colleague Nyawira for associating themselves with Deputy President William Samoei Ruto.

Njogu wa Njoroge learned about his termination from the radio station via a phone call from the station’s management telling him to not report to work permanently.

“I received a phone call from the Programs Controller, who asked me not to report to work, permanently,” Njoroge revealed.

Njoroge said that his termination came right after he showed his affiliation to Deputy President William Samoei Ruto noting that he had intended to tender his resignation letter before the February 9th deadline.

“It is because of my affiliations, nothing else. I would have resigned to go and concentrate on politics,” he stated.

Njogu wa Njoroge is vying for the Njoro parliamentary seat under DP Ruto’s UDA party. The renowned presenter was unveiled by DP Ruto at his Karen residence where he was welcomed by other loyal UDA members of parliament.

“Kazi ni kazi (Work is Work) Njogu Wa Njoroge. You are a great and highly talented son of Rurii. Wishing you the best in your political endeavors. Karibu sana (Welcome) bro,” Kiharu MP, Ndindi Nyoro, wrote.

“Njogu Wa Njoroge, welcome to The Hustler nation. May your dream to join Parliament come true,” Dennis Itumbi stated.
