Love stories are often a roller-coaster ride of emotions, and for actress Bridget Shighadi and her baby daddy Nick Mutuma, it’s no different.
After much speculation and rumors, Bridget Shighadi has finally confirmed that she is now single, marking the end of her relationship with Nick Mutuma. 
The confirmation came during an intimate Q&A session with her fans, where a curious follower asked the burning question, “Are you single?” To which Bridget replied with a straightforward and candid “Yes.”
In another inquiry, a fan sought to know the timeline of their breakup, asking how long Bridget had been single.
In response, she simply said, “For a minute, bro,” suggesting that the split occurred some time ago.
Observant fans had noticed the absence of each other in their social media posts and public appearances, leading to speculation about their relationship’s state.
During the celebration of their beloved daughter Dua’s birthday, the couple chose to commemorate the occasion separately, raising eyebrows among their followers.
This stark deviation from their previous joint celebrations hinted at a potential rift in their relationship.
It wasn’t the first time fans had noticed their distance.
During Bridget Shighadi’s 31st birthday celebration in July 2022, Nick Mutuma’s absence was conspicuous.
Unlike the previous year when he publicly wished her a happy 30th birthday, he remained silent this time around, leaving fans questioning the state of their bond.
In a candid interview a while back, Bridget Shighadi revealed that Nick Mutuma was her first significant relationship after high school.
The couple had been together for three years at the time of the interview, and they had even been living together.
However, like any relationship, theirs had its share of ups and downs, with moments of being on and off before the arrival of their daughter, Dua. Marriage plans were not a priority for them at the time, they said.
Bridget stressed that they were focusing on building their respective careers and creating a solid foundation for raising their daughter.
