Socialite Shariffa Wambui alias Manzi wa Kibera has referred to Akothee’s wedding as a joke.
The socialite, who was recently proposed to by her 66-year old lover, said that her wedding will be bigger than the musician’s.
“My wedding will be bigger than this joke” she captioned a photo of Akothee and her Swiss lover Denis Schweizer on their wedding day.
In the photo Schweizer aka Omosh is seen unveiling Akothee’s face.
Akothee’s colorful wedding took place on April 10, 2023 and she is planning the next one in Switzerland on July 10, 2023.
Although the socialite is referring to the wedding as a joke, it captured the attention of many Kenyans and for several days, Akothee was on top of the trending list on various social media platforms.
Manzi wa Kibera was however proposed by her elderly lover recently. A video of the proposal was shared online. In the video, mysterious man went down on his knees and pulled out a ring, leaving the socialite overwhelmed with emotions.
The couple had been dating for a couple months now and in the past, the former Wife Material cast revealed that they met through TikTok.
“We met on TikTok. He sent me a DM after I went public professing my love for MP Peter Salasya,” she said in an interview while denying allegations that their relationship was intended for clout chasing.
The couple is hoping that they will end up in marriage and get blessed with two children.
