“l Will Still Do Another Wedding” Akothee Insists After Being Labelled ‘Chief Officer Of Failed Marriages’

Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, has long been a prominent figure in Kenya’s entertainment and business spheres.

Beyond her chart-topping music career, Akothee has made significant strides as a savvy entrepreneur, founding ventures such as Akothee Safaris, Akothee Foundation, and Aknotela and Akothee Homes.

Yet, behind her public success lies a tumultuous personal history, marked by the trials and tribulations of love and marriage.

In a candid reflection, Akothee recently opened up about her journey as the self-proclaimed “chief officer of failed marriages,” shedding light on the complexities of human relationships.

The singer’s first marriage, which ended in 2006, left her to raise three daughters alone after her husband’s newfound wealth led to their separation.

Despite the challenges, Akothee has remained resilient, forging ahead with determination and resilience.

In a recent social media post, Akothee shared insights gleaned from her romantic misadventures, offering wisdom born from experience.

She emphasized the importance of understanding oneself before embarking on a romantic journey, urging individuals to recognize their own strengths, weaknesses, and values.

“It is still okay to fail in relationships or marriages. Remember, you are dealing with a complete human being from a different background with different beliefs, ambitions, and missions.

“Never go into a relationship before being in a relationship with yourself. Being in a relationship with yourself means you have understood yourself so well that you know your highs and lows.

“Age doesn’t define you. You must be yourself because you are the main subject in that relationship. Put your values right; either they take it or leave you.

“Come join me in the journey of life. l will still do another wedding, A bigger one than all the rest 🤣🤣🤣.” Akothee remarked.
