Joseph Irungu popularly known as Jowie has returned to social media after a long hiatus.
The murder suspect took a long break from Instagram, having last shared a post in November 2021.
Irungu made social media comeback on July 13, 2022, when he posted on Instagram – mimicking Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance running mate Martha Karua.

Jowie was charged with murdering businesswoman Monica Kimani on the night of September 19/20 2018.
The lifeless body of Monica Kimani was discovered at around 1pm on September 20th, 2018 at her Luciane Apartments house on Kitale Lane off Denis Pritt road.
The late businesswoman was found dead in a bathtub with her throat slit. Jowie and his then lover Jacque Maribe were arrested in connection with the murder.
Monica Kimani murder inquest resumed on September 28th 2021 at Milimani Law Courts.
