Redsan opened up about how much local promoters are paying him after he jetted back into the country from US where he was staying.
The veteran dancehall star relocated to the US to seek greener pastures at the height of Covid-19 pandemic.
Redsan recently got back in Kenya and has been performing at clubs across the country. His last gig was in Kisumu on February 5th.

Redsan complained about ‘poor’ pay from local promoters while speaking during a recent interview on Radio Maisha.
The dancehall singer complained that he is only being paid Ksh1 million per show which according to him is not enough.
“I am paid how I want, according to my work. 10,000 dollars (Ksh1 million) is not enough, but it is a good start,” said Redsan.

“I do not know about the other artistes because I have never seen their contracts. I am paid good, mkitaka kucatch ni sawa,” he added.
Redsan also lamented about royalties being poorly distributed to artistes.
“We are not being paid our royalties. There are cases in court going back to five years ago. People also became personal instead of working as a team. Cartels came up and you have to pay for your music to be played.”
