Gospel singer Kambua has opened up about her new born son who passed away in February 2021 soon after his birth.
While announcing her upcoming music project, titled Ametenda Zaidi, Kambua said that the late was born in February 12, 2021 and he was laid to rest on Valentine’s day.
The infant had been named Malachi.
“The month of February is also very special to me because in the month of February 2021, I had a very special boy that God gave to me. He landed on 12th of February and he went to be with the Lord, we laid him to rest on the 14th of February,” the Usiku na Mchana hitmaker said.

According to her, its by God’s grace that the month of February is ceasing to be a painful as God continues to heal her and lift her from darkness.
“For me this month ordinarily would be crowned by a lot of pain, a lot of brokenness, hopelessness but God has lifted me from a very dark place and he continues to heal my heart. He continues to bless me. I now look back and beyond the brokenness I see the blessing that has come,” Kambua said.
The mother of three further acknowledged God for blessing her womb after years of being called barren.
“I see that God moved me from being a woman who was called a barren woman, who could not have children to having three amazing children, one is in heaven with the Lord and two are here with me,” she added.
