Holy Dave a gospel musician and MC, was charged in Kibera court.
Holy Dave real name David Kimanthi Muthengi, submitted a not guilty plea, but was charged with assault and actual physical harm on one Keem David.
He allegedly smashed him on the head with an alcohol bottle at a club in Kilimani.
According to testimony given in court, Holy Dave assaulted the victim on October 1, 2022, following a brief disagreement.
David Kimanthi Muthengi allegedly assaulted Keem David in the head with a bottle after Keem tried to defend a friend of his who was being prevented from joining him in the VIP area of the club by security.
Keem David’s clothes were covered in blood, and he had a serious cut on the left side of his face close to his eye.
Following the reported incident, Dave, who is currently on bail, was taken into custody. Additionally, he told the police that he had hurt his right finger that evening.
A CCTV video that was recovered by investigators will be utilized as evidence in the case.
