DJ Joe Mfalme’s Wife Breaks Silence After 2 Week Dryspell

DJ Joe Mfalme’s wife Ephy Dishon was forced to briefly practice celibacy for two weeks after her husband was locked up in remand prison.

Ephy came out to express the joy of having her husband back into her loving arms a week after DJ Joe Mfalme was freed.

“Everyday is a gift from God. There’s no guarantee of tomorrow, so that tells me to see the good in this day to make the most of it,” Ephy posted.

In another post, she wrote: “God, thank you for your strength in me! Because of your work in my life, I am not defeated by the darkness in the world around me.

DJ Joe Mfalme was released from remand prison on April 8, 2024.

In a ruling, Kibera Magistrate Margaret Murage was informed by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) that DJ Joe Mfalme and five others, including three police officers, will be designated as State witnesses.

The accused-turned-state witnesses are Eric Kariuki Gathua, Simon Wambugu Wanjiru, Khadija Abdi Wako, Sammy Cheruiyot Rotich, and Agnes Kerubo Mogoiare.

Joe Mfalme had been in custody for 14 days alongside six others before their release.

The seven had been held on the request of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and the State to allow investigations into the murder of Kabete detective Felix Kelian to be concluded.

When they appeared in court Monday for directions, the Magistrate was told that the DPP had resorted to utilising DJ Joe Mfalme and some six respondents as state witnesses.
