Mejja refused a collabo with Diamond Platnumz, Willy Paul keeps fighting for his attention.
Although Kenyans love to overly critique local musicians and their music, Tanzanian crooner and businessman Diamond Platnumz enjoys some tunes from the land of the greatest runners worldwide.
Simba as he calls himself says, his favorite artist from Kenya is Bien. As a member of Sauti Sol, Bien has played a pivotal role in the band’s success, helping to write and produce many of their hit songs.
His smooth vocals and soulful melodies have earned him a dedicated fanbase both in Kenya and around the world. Sauti Sol’s unique sound, blending elements of afro-pop, soul, and R&B, has won them numerous awards.
In addition to his work with Sauti Sol, Bien has collaborated with other artists, both in Kenya and internationally. He has also released solo projects, showcasing his versatility as a creative singer and musician.
Reacting to the update, Bien dropped a “ManaBaldMan🚀🚀🚀” to co-sign Chibu’s confession.
Willy Paul previously stated that only him and Diamond Platnumz were equals in East African entertainment.
Almost immediately after, he switched up the belief in his mind, and stands that he has surpassed Diamond in talent and success.
The “Umeme” hit maker has been sandwiching himself in Diamond’s trend for publicity and hype from time to time, although the buzz fades almost at an instant.
Kenyan music superstar Mejja revealed in an interview that he had refused offers to collaborate with Bongo superstar Diamond Platnumz.
Mejja explained that he wanted to establish his own unique sound and conquer Africa in his own way.
He acknowledged that many people were surprised by his decision to turn down such a lucrative opportunity, as many artists would jump at the chance to collaborate with the “Yatapita” hit singer.
Maybe in the future, they will work on something together.
