Akothee has weighed in on the matter involving TikTok sensation and Sports CS Ababu Namwamba.
For long rumors have had it that the two might be involved romantically.
In a lengthy social media post, Akothee pointed that Azziad and the CS are grown ups and are at liberty to do as they please.
According to her, men and women who trolling the duo are interested in them.
“Well I just feel like causing trouble before I leave Kenya Let me ask one question 1. Is Azziad not over 18? 2. Is she not a woman enough to date ? 3. Is The CS Ababu.a not A man enough ? A Luhya African Man for that sake ( you know what I mean ,I mean If he had a wife or whatever he can still do his shit just like Most African men do),” she said.
The entrepreneur however noted that Azziad was just young and wasn’t anyone’s competitor.
According to her, she confirmed to her that she was not dating the CS and that she is only after building her career.
Akothee urged Kenyans to focus on serious issues facing the country instead of being concerned about bedroom issues.
“I feel Kenyans are becoming too much. This can’t be the daily headline. We have more serious issues to attend too. And by the way Who is claiming AZZIAD and who is claiming the CS ? Shida kubwa apart from Eating calamary and Expensive wine nillisikia juzi kwa parliament ni gani ?” she said

CS Namwamba has since addressed the matter, denying claims of having an affair with the radio presenter.
“I actually feel sorry for the poor girl, you know me, me Im Ababu Namwaba I have been in the trenches and you know when you have worked in these public spaces played politics, you grow the skin of a crocodile, on top of a hippo covered by the skin of a buffalo” he defended himself.
“You grow a thick one and so you can take all sorts of ..but people who have not really circulated in this space I feel for them so I feel for Azziad. I feel bad I feel bad for Azziad because we appointed Azziad alongside many other Kenyans to a technical team which is we believed would add value in the programs that we are progressing that we are implementing. Why anyone would pick that particular photo and turn it into actually spin it not turn it into something completely inappropriate is absolutely reprehensible. Absolutely reprehensible,” Namwamba said in an interview.
