Anita Nderu Surprises Mzungu Husband With Knitted Underwear To Keep His Fundamentals Warm In Freezing Weather

Anita Nderu and her husband are dealing with cold weather as winter season has seen temperature drop to as low as -9 degree Celsius.

The former Capital FM presenter married American Barrett Raftery in an exclusive wedding held in Kenya in September 2021.

The couple moved to US months after their wedding, they are currently living in the state of Colorado which is currently being battered by cold winter.

The Kenyan media personality recently took to social to narrated how she was coping living in freezing temperatures.

“It was -9 degrees celcius as it snowed so hard you could barely see a couple of meters in front of you. All our friends were either indoors or in the hot tub. Trust me to have been outside with my tripod playing in the snow instead?❄️

“Once you are layered up well, you don’t feel cold per say, unless it is windy. You get used to the cold the more days pass by though. The snow does make you wet (it’s water after all) so my faux fur coat, bucket hat and hair (I used a wig this time round, chances of getting a place where they do a good brush blowdry for my type of hair wasn’t looking likely) and face were wet wet by the time I was back indoors❄️ It’s basically cute rain?,” wrote Anita Nderu.

Anita also surprised her husband with a knitted underwear to keep his fundamental warm in freezing temperatures.

She shared the surprise with her fans via her Insta Stories. She posted a photo of the cloth and explained that similar gifts are exchanged where she lives. It is made of wool and is worn during the winter to keep you warm.
